Marijana Sreckovic is a researcher and lecturer at the Department for Industrial Building and Interdisciplinary Planning at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology. Previously she has worked as a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Real Estate Development and Project Management at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning.
She has received the Austrian Building Award 2010/2011 for young scientists („Österreichischer Baupreis 2010/2011 für Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen“) for her research on individual and organizational capabilities in Real Estate Development, which she has developed within the framework of her PhD Thesis.
Her research emphasis is on economics and management of networks in architecture and real estate, covering research areas such as: knowledge creation/integration, knowledge transfer and trust in architecture, design processes and real estate, capabilities in architecture and real estate, influences on the creation of networks, decision rights and incentives.
