Sean Chen
Red Date Technology
Sean is the Director of Business and Ecosystem Development at Red Date Technology.
He leads the strategic and operational activities for the BSN blockchain infrastructure network. Sean focuses on establishing the global ecosystem of cross-industry alliances and partnerships while supporting enterprise digital transformation with distributed ledger technology. Key projects include developing blockchain-based cross-border solutions to comply with data privacy, sovereignty, and security. Sean expanded the enterprise blockchain ecosystem beyond Hong Kong and collaborated with authorities, telecom, cloud providers, and academic institutions.
A tech enthusiast and serial entrepreneur, Sean started his career a decade ago promoting Building Information Modeling and Smart City technology in Greater China and ASEAN. He co-founded multiple tech startups integrating Artificial Intelligence, Smart Wearables, and Motion Recognition technology.
Sean holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Stanford University. He also received his BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of California Davis.
