Construction Blockchain Conference 2027
Enduring Challenges
Disruptive Technologies Driving
Transformational Changes within the Built Environment
Spring 2027 | Hybrid from London, UK
Join us at CBC2027: Construction Blockchain Conference, taking place in Spring 2027, bringing together an international community of researchers, industry leaders, policymakers and technology innovators to explore the future of digital transformation in the built environment.
Artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital twins, smart contracts, robotics and other emerging technologies continue to reshape how buildings and infrastructure are designed, constructed, operated and maintained. Yet longstanding challenges persist, including low productivity, fragmented supply chains, limited interoperability, ageing infrastructure, decarbonisation, cybersecurity, workforce shortages and the need for trusted digital governance.
CBC2027 will explore how these technologies are moving beyond experimentation towards practical implementation, measurable impact and industry-wide adoption. Building on previous conferences, the event will critically examine emerging innovations, real-world applications, technological barriers and the evolving relationships between technology, people, organisations and regulation.
The programme will feature keynote presentations, cutting-edge research, industry case studies, expert panels and interactive discussions, fostering collaboration between academia, industry and government. CBC2027 will provide an international platform for exchanging knowledge, challenging assumptions and advancing responsible, sustainable and trustworthy digital transformation across the built environment.
Conference Committee
The CBC2027 Conference Committee brings together experts from academia, industry and technology to shape a high-quality programme addressing the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in the built environment. Drawing on expertise in blockchain, artificial intelligence, digital twins, smart contracts and related emerging technologies, the committee ensures the academic rigour, industry relevance and international reach of the conference.

Submissions
Researchers, practitioners, policymakers and technology providers are invited to submit original research, industry case studies, technical developments, implementation experiences and critical perspectives for presentation at CBC2027, taking place in Spring 2027.
Contributions should explore the application, integration and impact of blockchain, artificial intelligence, digital twins, smart contracts, robotics and other emerging technologies within the built environment. Submissions are particularly encouraged to demonstrate methodological rigour, practical relevance, measurable outcomes and insights into the challenges of implementation and adoption.
CBC2027 provides an international forum to present research, share industry experience, critically evaluate emerging innovations and foster collaboration across academia, industry and government, contributing to a more productive, sustainable, resilient and trustworthy built environment.
