Darya Bahram


Darya is the Secretary General of the Association of Consultant Architects (ACA), a Chartered Architect (RIBA), Project Manager (MAPM), Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and Research Associate at the Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution, Kings College London.

She has extensive construction industry experience and has worked within international client organisations and large scale contracting and house building companies. She has led multi-disciplinary teams on high profile regeneration projects such as in the Greenwich Peninsula, Elephant & Castle and the Athlete Village. Darya has also provided strategic guidance, in support of driving business change and efficiency, for a range of private sector clients. She has re-drafted both the RIBA Domestic & Concise Building Contracts 2018 and the JCT 2016 Contract Administration Forms.

Darya was responsible for the extensive research that subsequently led to the publication of “Enabling BIM through Procurement & Contracts” by the Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King’s College London. She co-authored a short report, jointly with Professor David Mosey, on the potential use of disruptive technologies in construction. This was commissioned by Future Cities Catapult.
